Starting June 2nd, 2021 CPDMS will require the use of Duo for two-factor authentication. This will be implemented on both CPDMS.net and CPDMS.org. Client certificates will continue to be required for Portal until later this year, so please do not uninstall your certificates until that change occurs.

When you log in to CPDMS.org after the update on June 1st, you will no longer need a client certificate to connect. Instead, you will be prompted to set up Duo on your iOS or Android device as your second factor.

If you use an Android device, please look for this app in your app store:

If using an iOS device, please look for this app in your app store:

Currently the Duo App is supported in Android 8 or newer and iOS 12 or newer. Users with older phones will need to set up Duo to text them. For non-smartphone users, any phone that can get a text message can set up Duo to text them as well.

Below you will find two guides from Duo that help walk through the enrollment and setup process.

Please note: The QR codes in these guides are only examples and are not what you will have to scan for CPDMS access.

If you are unable to set up the Duo app or receive codes via SMS on your cell phone, please see the Duo tokens page. This has information on the Duo hardware options we recommend for CPDMS.

If you have questions or concerns about these options, please contact CPDMS support during normal support hours of 7AM to 5PM Eastern time.
